Contracting enables you to choose the periods in which you would like to work such as term time or other set periods throughout the year; or for an agreed continuous period after which you could take some time off.

Full time flexible working will mean less structured hours than on the normal 9am–5pm – Monday-Friday regime.

A set number of hours per week could be agreed – spread over different times each day, for instance. Another option is for a set number of hours to be worked each week, subject to a minimum number of hours to be worked each day.
